SE W890i Phone Pouch
J and I got a couple phone, it’s a Sony Ericsson W890i. Other than wishing there’s a flashlight on it, this phone really rocks
It’s also my first SE phone. ^^
It was lacking a pouch that keep it safe and with a hole that I can plug in the ear piece for my movies, so I attempt to make one fitting bag for it.
This is my 6th attempt that I finally got it. But I am still thinking of furtjer improving the design to make user friendly
Here are the failed attempts that either don’t fit the phone or I don’t like how it works. The first design is not in the photo, it was a crochet one. Similar design at the most left pouch. I just don’t like that the opening is on the left side as I am right-handed.
From left to right in the photo is the development of the pouch to the latest final design that I am using now. The 2nd and 3rd is the same design I was tweaking the measurements and it further develop to the 4th design with measurements that are off too.
Basically the measurement is 8.5cm by 26cm, inclusive for 1cm seam on each side. I’ve used interfacer for the fabric as it was very thin. I used the sewing technique that I saw in this Passport cover tutorial by BunnyBum. The tutorial was really easy to follow, I recommend whoever that is reading this to take a look ![]()
