Doodle about DT in the bed while I watch it on the PSP. The show is interesting and hilarious at times, especially when they went to look for the Yeti and came out with the Yeti joke. “Are we there Yeti?” : P

I find my little book really nice to doodle on so far. : D

First stop is to Woods in the Books. If you love books, this is a place for you, especially picture books with lovely illustrations. <3

Then we passed by Books Actually.

I like this place, natural lighting and feels like I can relax there, we rest a little before browsing the lovely items that The Little Drom Store has. ^^

Lastly we went to MAAD before heading to Bras Basah Complex for some art supplies. : )  These cute clay badges are by HodgePodge. They have some really nicely done illustrations and paper cut cards.

Binding a book had been in my mind for quite a while, just haven’t get down to do it until now. Wanted to experience how it is like to sew the pages together so I didn’t add a thicker paper for the cover and back. I ended up with a 36 pages little brown book that measures around 3 by 4 inches. I’m gonna use it for sketching and writing down any ideas in my mind. I’ll try one with a harder cover sometime. : D The whole process took less than 20mins minus the doodles. Hehe.

Created a page to consolidate all the number photos I’ve taken all this while. : D I will keep updating it whenever I have new numbers, I’m not sure which number I should stop at or just collect all the numbers I see. XD

Went to Singapore Philatelic Museum today and there is a section show casing about tigers. : ) According to the written information at the exhibition Singapore used to have a lot of tigers in the jungles during the 1800s since there were a lot of jungles back then. People used to live with these big cats but it was dangerous, everyday there will be 1 person dying due to the tiger and when it got out of hand, the authority reward $20 for each tiger killed.

As of today, there are about 5000 to 7000 tigers left in the world from what I read from the internet, there may be even lesser. Their decreasing number is due to several reasons, there are people in the world believing that eating body parts of exotic animals will make their healthier or stronger, people who wants the fur of these animals, and decreasing the habitat of these animals. If nothing is done to save these animals, we will probably never see them again in the future but only through videos, paintings and photographs.

It is so true, when the buying stops, the killing can too.  It applies to all the animals in the world.

I love stone slide since I was young, I don’t like any other slides, no metal type, no plastic tube type but this type. But they are disappearing in Singapore, replaced with plastic slides that don’t slide at all. XD Not that I still slide on them, they will probably give way but I saw the kids pushing themselves down those plastic ones.

Anyway, while in Kluang, we finally found this slide according to my friend’s map. XD being the big kid… I wanted to try it, saying that I was real good at climbing up the slides in the past. I can see that the surface is really shiny and slippery and didn’t expect my feet to be that dry.. I fell face down but I managed to save my camera HAHAHA I can hear my bf and my friend laughing out loud and I was laughing big time too. XD Wahaha end up with a little scrap on my right elbow while supporting the camera.

omg.. i gotta remember that I’m not as young. but I still believe i can do it if my feet aren’t that dry. HAHAHA

Recently SPCA alerted everyone to identify this woman in the video because she was abusing the little dog with a sticks broom, hitting on the dog’s head repeatedly just because the dog chewed on the cushions that she intended to sell. I know how it feels like when your pet chewed on the things that belongs to you but most dogs chew on things and this is not a way to discipline a dog. It just pains my heart when I watched the video. What ticked me off most is when she was asked to stop, she turned around and hit the person recording the video with the sticks broom and exclaimed that it doesn’t hurt. Oh my goodness, upon hearing that it flares me up and the thought of hitting her face with that sticks broom just kept repeating in my head. How would she feel if it was her being hit that way? Not painful? I highly doubt so.

This video stirred up a big wave on Facebook after people shared it over and over again and it even drew attentions of people from overseas whom one of them also claim that he/she wrote a letter to Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA). Channel News Asia and local Channel 5 news reported about this case on TV 2 days ago I believe.

According to SPCA, the owner of Butters (name of the dog) had contacted AVA and they are investigating this case right now. SPCA is trying their best to appeal to AVA to take firm actions against this woman. Also they are encouraging the public to wrote in to AVA to voice their thoughts regarding this case.

As for me, I fear that Butters will stay with them or they get to keep pets again. She would hit Butter on the head for the cushions… what would she do if she is to be fined or jailed?

I shall not link the abuse video here but if you are curious, you should be able to get it on youtube if you search for butters/singapore/animal abuse.. etc. Watching the video and listening to it really makes me heart aches and my eyes teary. It is disheartening when I saw some comments claiming that hitting a dog like that is nothing because it is discipline and this person’s friends discipline their dogs like that on SPCA facebook. I hope this person is really ignorant and don’t really know how her friends discipline their dogs, if it is true, they need some education on how to train dogs.

Umekooooo, made a bubble tube dress for her. XD The first version of this tube dress was a pair of shorts, i revised the pattern into a dress instead.. cos the bottom of the bubble shorts kinda looks like.. testicles OxO LOL I might try it again with another color.

She also has a matching eye color pocket bunny, but she’s so petite that the bunny isn’t pocket size anymore. XD

I can also try thinner and softer yarns. ^^
